Number 30 on the day’s list

Of course, when you average only a handful of hits a day, it doesn’t take a very large number of visitors to make the percentage of increase look really impressive! Still, WordPress does say they have over 3 1/2 million blogs, so there’s plenty of competition!

I think the whole thing started when members of the Knitting Beyond the Hebrides list clicked on my blog link in a message I wrote. And somehow, the thing kind of exploded, WordPress picked up on the activity, and I ended up with 248 visits for the day. It was interesting to browse through the other blogs on the list… lots of different languages and lots of different topics! I expect that some of the other people who scrolled through the list had to wonder about mine. (Gee, I hope they came here for a look!)

That spike in my statistics looks pretty lonely there, don’t you think? Oh, well, it was nice while it lasted!
