Fair time!

The Prairie Spinner Posted on September 6, 2012 by spinnerNovember 29, 2024

It has rolled around again, and I wasn’t as ready as I wanted to be for the 2012 Kansas State Fair.  I know, big surprise, right?  Well, I lost some knitting time after DH’s old laptop went wacko, and it turned out to be the most problematic rescue-and-rebuild I have ever done.  I still don’t know why, but that’s water… Continue Reading Fair time!

Here’s the first half of a… Continue Reading Actual knitting content

Not like my Viking socks, which have cable designs taken from Viking stone carving and other artifacts (I highly recommend Elsebeth Lavold’s book Viking Patterns for Knitting for this), but with wire! This kind of work has evidently been called Viking knitting for a long, long time, and is a method… Continue Reading Viking knitting
